Who We are & History
A Legacy of Excellence in Collision Repair
Founded in 1984 by Bernie and Laurie Gates, Prestige Auto Collision started as a small shop in Mission Viejo. The shop consisted of one building on a sleepy street lined with shops servicing the car industry. Though many businesses would come and go, Prestige weathered many storms to grow steadily. From a single shop, we took over the entire lot. Over the decades, we expanded to operate over 40,000 sq. ft. of secured facilities. Prestige Collision Group now includes Prestige Auto Collision in Mission Viejo and Fabricante Auto Body in Lake Forest. With three generations of family members involved in daily operations, we remain committed to quality repairs, customer trust, and industry-leading expertise.
